Salary: Up to £42,000 Basic + Paid Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime at 1.5x + Company Van

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a role that offers paid door-to-door travel, excellent overtime opportunities, and a varied portfolio of commercial work?
We are recruiting for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established HVAC business covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial sites, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and occasional installation work on air conditioning systems.
The role also includes a small amount of commercial refrigeration work. Previous refrigeration experience is beneficial but not essential, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced AC engineer looking to broaden their skill set.
The Role

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial air conditioning systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Working on split systems, multi-splits, VRV and VRF equipment.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
• Completing occasional installation work where required.
• Undertaking a small amount of commercial refrigeration work.
• Providing a high standard of customer service across commercial sites.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.

Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
• Strong experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on commercial air conditioning systems.
• Valid F-Gas certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
